Some moments pass too quickly for us to understand them while they are happening.

A ripple in the water. Snow floating through the air. A stranger crossing the street. Rain becoming light on a window. A gesture that disappears before we know why it stayed with us.

I think a lot of my work comes from wanting to remain inside those moments for a little longer.

Not to stop them completely, but to feel them before they disappear.
